Female athletes learn, respond, move, and develop differently.
That matters. Our coaching approach recognizes those differences rather than treating female hockey development as a smaller version of a male program.
Female-focused coaching matters.
We prioritize coaching methods that consider female athletes’ movement, technique, development, and anatomical safety—making purposeful adjustments using pattern recognition that helps players train confidently and effectively.
Small adjustments create big changes.
YOU are your greatest Competition
Development isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming stronger, smarter, more confident, and more capable than the player you were yesterday.
YOU are NEVER too old to play hockey
Whether you're stepping onto the ice for the first time or working toward your next competitive level, there is always another skill to learn, another adjustment to make, and another level to reach

Welcome to Southern Oregon’s first all-girls hockey team, The Lady Royals are a Medford Oregon based Organization that provides female athletes ages 9–18 with a place to compete, develop, and discover just how far they can take their game.
We are a competitive tournament team supported by twice-weekly high-performance practices designed for players who demand more of themselves than simply being applauded for showing up. Our focus is purposeful development—helping each athlete break bad habits, understand the game, recognize patterns faster, and make small adjustments that create major improvements in rapid time.
